Jeremaih Shannon is the Founder and President of Torchbearer Solutions LLC. He has over ten years of experience performing audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) for the City of New York (City). As an external auditor, Jeremaih conducted compliance and performance audits.

Before founding Torchbearer Solutions, Jeremaih worked at the New York City Campaign Finance Board where he supervised an audit team performing compliance audits of campaigns to ensure they complied with campaign finance laws and regulations. Prior to that, Mr. Shannon worked at the Office of the New York City Comptroller as an auditor and conducted performance audits of City agencies and private entities with social service contracts.

Jeremaih performed audits of City agencies, nonprofits, contractors and political campaigns in accordance with GAGAS for over a decade. While conducting audits, he performed analysis of administrative, financial and programmatic records to determine if entities achieved its objectives efficiently and effectively; and conformed to specific laws, regulation, policies or contractual obligations. Mr. Shannon performed inventory inspections, inventory cycle counts, interviewed employees, and conducted site visits to observe operating practices. 

Jeremaih holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Howard University, and a Master of Public Administration degree from CUNY Baruch College.
